AB “Kauno ketaus liejykla” (Kaunas Cast Iron Foundry) started its activities in 1962. The foundry territory takes 19.5 ha. About 450 people are employed here. Yearly production capacity is over 20000 tons. Acquired production potential as well experience of working in Western markets enable to successfully compete with foundries in other countries. Thus for several years already the company has been exporting more than 95 % of its total production to different countries of Western Europe: Sweden, Finland, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, the Netherlands, and other.
